Royal Gorge provides lessons for all levels of skiers in striding and skating. Mastering a new sport has never been quicker, easier or more fun. With a lesson from one of our enthusiastic instructors and the benefit of state-of-the art equipment, you'll be flying along the trails in no time. Sure, you'll get tripped up occasionally, bump into a trail that's bigger than you are or be caught holding your breath and hoping for the best. But at the end of the day, you'll be sitting on the deck saying "Been there, skied that" and have the warm glow of success to prove it.
Group Lessons - 1 1/2hours Hours: 10:30am and 2:00 pm daily, plus 12:30pm on weekends. Cost: $25 or $48 including a trail pass.*
Private Lessons - 1 hour One hour personal instruction, customized for you or your group. Reservations recommended. Cost: $45 first person, $20 each additional person. Trail pass additional.*
Skating Lessons - 1 1/2 hours Hours: 12:30pm weekdays, 10:30am and 12:30pm on weekends. Cost: $25 or $48 including a trail pass.*
Telemark Private Lessons - 1 hour Please call ahead to pre-book. Telemark gear can be rented at The Backcountry store in Truckee. Lesson Cost: $40.
Ski Tours-New this Year!-This 2 hour tour of the Royal Gorge trail system will provide you with information and techniques to make your experience at Royal Gorge memorable. The tour can be customized to any ability of skiing. Weekends and Holidays only- 10:30 am and 1:00 pm Tour Cost: $30.
