What a fun, slushy day yesterday at the Slush Rush! Our groomers did a great job putting in a 400 meter ribbon of snow that everyone could sprint, f you can call that a sprint :). And if there is one thing we know youth skiers love, it's shooting laser biathlon rifles! A huge thanks to US Biathlon for providing rifles and targets.
We will have approximately 20km this morning ready to ski. The weather in the past few weeks has taken its toll on our trails, and oru team has done an amazing job patching together trails for us to ski. But, as happens every year, we have run out of snow. Today will be our last day of grooming trails out of Summit Station and as of tomorrow, 3/23, the Lodge and Summit Station trails will be closed. We may be able to groom a few trails out of Sugar Bowl Village for a few more days, we will inspect today and update Nordic Pulse if we are able to accomplish that.
Important Trail Update: Maintenance Road, Razorback, Switchback are now CLOSED. Timberline has an exposed dirt section on the downhill leading to Tele. You will have to take your skis off and walk 100-200 yards. To access trails on the East side of Soda Springs road, you will need to walk Summit Connection trail (all dirt) from Summit Station to Soda Springs Road.
NOTICE: The number of trails/KM marked open and/or groomed may not be accurate on this page. For a detailed view of what trails have been groomed and at what time, please use our interactive map: Interactive Map
